May 2023 - It's Spring Time and so grateful that God brought us through another Winter Season!  Some winter seasons are drastic others are mild as we had this year.  So it is in the natural as it is in the spiritual.  Enjoy your Spring Season; much is springing forth, and you may miss it, if you're still holding on to the winter!

THE MONTH OF May
We are excited because the Sunday 10am Morning Glory Sessions has begun!  We have had a great response, to "Learning How to Study the Bible"  that we are continuing the Sessions through the end of May.  It's not too late, if you still desire to LEARN, just come to our Sunday Morning 10am Sessions, wonderful testimony's are coming forth!

 

MAY IS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH!

Every year during the month of May, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) joins the national movement to raise awareness about mental health. Together, we fight stigma, provide support, educate the public and advocate for policies that support the millions of people in the U.S. affected by mental illness.  

 

This year, NAMI is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month with the "More Than Enough" campaign! It’s an opportunity for all of us to come together and remember the inherent value we each hold — no matter our diagnosis, appearance, socioeconomic status, background or ability. We want every person out there to know that if all you did was wake up today, that’s more than enough. No matter what, you are inherently worthy of more than enough life, love and healing. Showing up, just as you are, for yourself and the people around you is more than enough.

 

Lack of information surrounding mental health issues can prevent people from getting the help and support they need.
Sharing Hope is a three-part video series that explores the journey of mental wellness in Black communities through dialogue, storytelling and a guided discussion on the following topics:

PRAYER BOARD:  Please note our website now has a prayer board!  Those that have special requests that you'd desire us all to pray collectively - can now post your requests on the Prayer Board.  Click on the "MORE" tab and search "Prayer Board" please note posts are visible for everyone to see, therefore if you desire a "special unspoken request" you can post those words.  It is a community based link so anyone who desires prayer can post to that page!!
 

Please download the church app and update your address, phone number or email and also send any prayer requests by clicking on the banner Prayer requests, we can have our Power Team which is our Pastors, Elders and Ministers help lift you up as well.  If you desire a private/confidential prayer Pastor James & Kim Taylor will pray on your behalf and we can tell the Power Team to pray unspoken requests for you.  It is our endeavor to continue to lift you all up and be supportive as much as possible, and as we are growing we don't want you to feel disconnected.  At times we may be consumed with our day-to-day responsibilities and think not to reach out, but we are a community of believers that gather together as a church family, not just for entertainment!  We hope we can be of service to you in anyway that you may be needing!!  We Love You All and pray that you are able to feel it, see it and most of all know it!
